Agnes
Agnes (Red Valley 778) is a white, registered purebred Bluefaced Leicester (BFL) ewe. She has a high-quality fleece that shows the wonderful traits typical for the BFL standards. Agnes is an excellent mother. She has had a total of 6 lambs – 5 ewe lambs and 1 ram lamb. Her lambs are beautiful with fine fleece and good conformation. Agnes is our friendliest wool ewe and loves to come get her petting when we are in the barnyard. We also began using her for milk production in 2025 and she produced very well.

Beatrice

Willow Creek Beatrice is a black patterned, registered purebred Bluefaced Leicester (BFL) ewe. She was born spring 2025 to our ewe, Agnes (Red Valley 778), and sired by Bruce (Regal Blue Timothy). We are very excited to see how her fleece turns out as she grows, since both her parents have exceptionally fine fleece. She inherited her mother’s sweetness too and is super friendly.

Lacey
Lacey (Fair Adventure Ranch Lacey) is a registered, purebred, black/silver BFL that joined our flock in 2023. She had lambed previous to coming to our farm and is a good mother. She has wonderful BFL qualities that we feel add nicely to our flock and cross well with our rams. She has a beautiful, medium-grey colored BFL fleece.

Lacey is the first BFL ewe we milked. She has excellent udder conformation and teat placement that makes milking her easy. She is docile in the stanchion and produced well through her full 2024 milking season of 5 months. She is our first truly triple-purpose sheep and hopefully the start of a flock of BFLs that not only have excellent fleece qualities and size that makes the rams valuable for meat, but also good dairy qualities for family use. We were also interested to see what potential effects milking her had on her fleece quality. Since she put so much effort into milking, the question was whether it caused a decrease in the quality of her fleece. After shearing in spring 2025 we answered that question – the fleece quality was just as good. Milking her did not effect her ability to grow a great fleece.
Naomi

Willow Creek Naomi is a black patterned, registered purebred Bluefaced Leicester (BFL) ewe lamb. She was born as a twin in spring 2025 to our ewe, Lacey, and sired by Wallace. We are looking forward to seeing how she turns out since we have never crossed Lacey and Wallace before. We also want to see if she inherits Lacey’s udder and milking qualities like her half-sister Ruth did. She definitely inherited Lacey’s friendliness and enjoys being pet.
Caroline

Regal Blue Caroline joined our flock January 2025. We are very excited to expand our BFL genetics through her and her daughter, Sophie. Caroline has a beautiful black/silver colored fleece – this color fades to a very very light grey as the sheep ages. Her fleece has a lot of loft and “squish” to it.

Sophie
Regal Blue Sophie joined our flock January 2025. We are very excited to expand our BFL genetics through her and her mother, Caroline. Her fleece is a beautiful example of a fine and soft BFL fleece. We can’t wait to see her yarn once it is processed. We put her with Wallace early February with hopes of a late-season pregnancy and we were not disappointed. Sophie lambed beautiful twin ewe lambs in early July 2025.
We are milking her for this season and have found her production to be excellent. She was easy to train to the stanchion and has a very nice udder. Another tri-purpose ewe in our flock!
